Episode 4: Kat on IVF, Becoming a Mum at 39, Building a Business & Choosing the Right Partner

Kat is the fourth guest on Storme Diaries, and this episode is full of honest conversations, life lessons and moments that will stay with you long after you've listened. We talk about her IVF journey, becoming a mum at 39, building a successful business, the importance of choosing the right partner, being a misbehaved teenager and the lessons she learned along the way. From motherhood and relationships to resilience and so much more, Kat shares her story with warmth, honesty and a whole lot of heart. It's the kind of conversation that will make you laugh, reflect and feel completely inspired.

Kat is the fourth guest on Storme Diaries, and honestly, this is one of those episodes that I know is going to stay with people long after they've finished listening.

From the moment we started recording, Kat brought so much warmth, honesty and humour into the conversation. She has lived such a full life and isn't afraid to share the messy, the magical and everything in between.

In this episode, Kat opens up about her IVF journey, what it was really like becoming a mum at 39, and the rollercoaster of emotions that came with trying to grow her family. She talks about her little boy, motherhood, and how becoming a mum completely shifted her perspective on what truly matters.

We also chat about her career and the incredible business she has built — the late nights, the self-belief, and the lessons she learned along the way as a woman in business. Kat is proof that you can chase your ambitions, build something meaningful and still show up as the kind of mum and partner you want to be.

One of my favourite parts of this conversation was talking about relationships and the importance of choosing the right partner. Kat speaks so openly about love, growth and the kind of support that makes a real difference in your life.

And of course, we couldn't help but laugh about her teenage years. Kat shares stories of being a bit of a misbehaved teenager and the lessons she carried with her into adulthood — the kind of stories that remind you we've all had our moments.
