Episode 11: Steph Sibley on Face Fitness, Single Motherhood & Rewriting Your Story

This week I sit down with the incredible Steph, founder of Face Fitness, for a raw and honest conversation about growing up around domestic abuse, falling in love in Thailand, co-parenting across countries, and building a business that's changing women's confidence. šŸ¤

Welcome back to Storme Diaries šŸ¤ This week's episode is a powerful conversation with the incredible Steph, founder of Face Fitness. Steph is so open throughout this chat and has a brilliant sense of humour, making even some of life's toughest moments feel relatable. She opens up about the experiences that shaped the woman, mother and business owner she is today.

She reflects on her childhood, growing up around domestic abuse, and her mum's strength in finding the courage to leave. She talks honestly about the impact those early years had on her, and how they helped shape the person she is today.

We also talk about the incredible journey that led her to meeting her daughter's father while travelling in Thailand. Steph shares what it was like falling in love abroad, returning home to the UK heavily pregnant, and the challenges they both faced as he adjusted to life in a country that wasn't his own while speaking very little English.

Steph opens up about her pregnancy and birth experience, navigating the reality of their relationship coming to an end, and what co-parenting from different countries looks like for their daughter today. Of course, no Storme Diaries conversation would be complete without talking about everything in between. We dive into motherhood, relationships, healing from the past, building confidence, taking risks, and why your past never has to define your future. ✨

In this episode we discuss: • Steph's childhood and growing up around domestic abuse • Her mum's strength in leaving an abusive relationship • Meeting her daughter's father whilst travelling in Thailand • Returning to the UK heavily pregnant • Pregnancy, birth and becoming a mum • The realities of co-parenting from different countries • Building Face Fitness into a successful business • Healing, resilience, motherhood and everything in between

This episode is raw, honest, funny and inspiring. Steph's story is proof that no matter where you've come from, your circumstances never have to define where you're going. It's filled with vulnerability, laughter, strength and the reminder that your circumstances never have to become your limitation.

Whether you're a parent, navigating co-parenting, building a business, healing from your past, or simply love hearing real stories from real people, I know Steph's journey will stay with you long after you've finished listening.
